ENSEÑANZAS QUE PODEMOS APRENDER Y PONER EN PRÁCTICA LEYENDO EL LIBRO DE SIRAC (SIRACH)
LO QUE ORIGINALMENTE SE HA EXPRESADO EN HEBREO, POR LO GENERAL NO TIENE EL MISMO SENTIDO CUANDO SE TRADUCE A OTRO IDIOMA. ASÍ QUE ALGUNAS ENSEÑANZAS DIFIEREN NO POCO DE LO QUE ORIGINALMENTE SE DESEO EXPRESAR.
FOR THAT WAS ORIGINALLY EXPRESSED IN HEBREW DOES NOT HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME SENSE WHEN TRANSLATED INTO ANOTHER LANGUAGE. SO, YOU WILL SEE SOME TEACHINGS THAT HAVE NOT LITTLE DISSIMILARITY AS ORIGINALLY EXPRESSED.
ORIGEN DE LA SABIDURÍA:
Toda sabiduría proviene del Creador, y con El está por siempre.
Antes que todas las cosas fue creada la Sabiduría, la inteligente prudencia desde la eternidad.
Sólo UNO hay sabio, en extremo temible, el que en Su trono está sentado. El Creador mismo la creó, la vio y la contó y derramó sobre todas Sus obras, en toda carne conforme a Su largueza, y se la dispensó a los que Le aman.
All wisdom comes from Eternal and is with Him for ever. Wisdom was created before all things, and prudent understanding from eternity.
There is ONE who is wise, greatly to be feared, sitting upon His throne. Eternal himself created wisdom, he saw her out upon all His works. She dwells with all flesh according to His gift, and He supplied her to those who love Him.

EN TODA PRUEBA TEMAMOS AL CREADOR:
Todo lo que te sobrevenga, acéptalo, y en los reveses de tu humillación se paciente.
Confía en El, y El, a su vez, te cuidará. Endereza tus caminos y espera en El.
Los que temen al Cre4ador no desobedecen Sus palabras. Los que Le aman guardan Sus caminos.
Accept whatever is brought upon you, and in changes that humble you be patient.
Trust in Him, and He will help you; make your ways straight, and hope in Him.
Those who fear Eternal will not disobey his words, and those who love Him will keep his ways..

DEBERES PARA CON LOS PADRES:
En obra y en palabra honra a tu padre, para que te alcance Su bendición. Pues la bendición del padre afianza la casa de los hijos, y la maldición de la madre destruye los cimientos.
Cuida de tu padre en su vejez, y en su vida no le causes tristeza.
Honour your father by word and deed, that a blessing from him may come upon you, for a father´s blessing strengthens the houses of the children, but a mother`s curse uproot their foundations.
3:8, 9, 12
LA HUMILDAD:
Cuanto más grande seas, más debes humillarte, y ante el Creador hallarás gracia.
Lo que se te encomienda, eso medita, pues no es menester que te preocupes por lo oculto.
The greater you are, the more you must humble yourself; so you will find favour in the sight of Eternal.
Reflect upon what has been assigned to you for you do not need what is hidden.
3: 18, 22
No te apoyes en riquezas injustas, que de nada te servirán el día de la adversidad.
Mantente firme en tu pensamiento, y sea una tu palabra.
Se pronto en escuchar, y tardo en responder.
Do not depend on dishonest wealth, for it will not benefit you in the day of calamity.
Be steadfast in your understanding, and let you speech be consistent.
Be quick to hear, and be deliberate in answering.

SOBRE LA AMISTAD:
El amigo fiel es un seguro refugio,, y el que le encuentra ha encontrado un tesoro.
El amigo fiel no tiene precio, no hay peso que pueda medir su valor.
El amigo es remedio de vida y los que temen al Eterno Creador le encontrará.
A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter: he that found one has found a treasure.
There is nothing so precious as a faithful friend, and no scales can measure his excellence.
A faithful friend is an elixir of life; and those who fear Eternal will find him.
6 : 14, 15, 16
EN BÚSSQUEDA DE SABIDURÍA:
Hijo, desde tu juventud haz acopio de doctrina, y hasta encanecer encontrarás sabiduría.
La sabiduría hace honor a su nombre, pero no se hace patente a muchos.
Si te gusta escuchar la verdad, aprenderás; y si inclinas tu oído, serás sabio.
Medita en los preceptos del Altísimo, aplícate sin cesar a Sus mandamientos. El mismo afirmará tu corazón, y se dará la sabiduría que deseas.
My son, from your youth choose instruction, and until you are old you will keep finding wisdom.
For wisdom is like her name, and is not manifest to many.
If you love to listen you will gain knowledge, and if you incline your ear you will become wise,
Reflect on the statutes of the Mighty One, and meditate at all times on His commandments. It`s He who will give insight to your mind, and your desire for wisdom will be granted.

SOBRE LOS HIJOS :
¿Tienes hijos? Adoctrínalos, doblega su serviz desde su juventud.
¿Tienes hijas? Cuídate de ellas, y no pongas ante ellas cara muy risueña.
Con todo tu corazón honra a tu padre, y no olvides los dolores de tu madre.
7 : 23, 24, 27
SOBRE LA PRUDENCIA Y LA REFLEXIÓN ;
No reproches al hombre que se vuelve de su pecado, recuerda que culpable somos todos.
No prestes al que puede más que tú; porque si prestas, dalo por perdido.
No salgas fiador por encima de tus medios; si lo haces, date por deudor.
No abras tu corazón a todo el mundo, pues no te han de compensar con gracia alguna.
Do not commit a sin twice; even for one you will not go unpunished.
Do not lend to a man who is stronger than you; but if you do lend anything, be as one who has lost it.
Do not give surety beyond your means, but if you give surety, be concerned as one who must pay.
Do not reveal your thoughts to every one, lest you drive away you good luck.

RELACIONES CON EL PRÓJIMO:
Con los inteligentes ten conversación, y tus charlas versen sobre la Ley del Altísimo. Varones justos sean tus comensales, y en el temor hacia el Eterno esté tu orgullo.
Let your conversation be with men f understanding, and let all your discussion be about the law of the Most High.
Let that righteous men be your dinner companions, and let your glorying be in the fear of Eternal.
9 : 15, 16
Sin haber escuchado no respondas ni interrumpas en medio del discurso.
Hay quien es débil, necesitado de apoyo, falto de bienes y sobrado de pobreza, más los ojos del Creador le miran para bien, El le recobra de su humillación.
La bendición del Creador es la recompensa del piadoso, y en un instante hace florecer su bendición.
Que es fácil para el Creador, el día de la muerte, pagar a cada uno según su proceder.
Do not answer before you have heard, nor interrupt a speaker in the midst of his work.
There is another who is slow and need helps, who lacks strength and abounds in poverty, but Eternal´s eyes look upon for his good; He lifts him out of his head.
The blessing of Eternal is the reward of the godly, and quickly Eternal causes His blessings to flourish.
11 : 8, 12, 22, 26
Antes de morir, haz el bien a tu amigo, según tus medios dale con largueza.
No te prives de pasarte un buen día, no se te escape la posesión de un deseo legítimo.
Toda carne, como un vestido envejece, pues la ley eterna es: ¡Hay que morir¡
Do good to a friend before you die, and reach out and give to him as much as you can.
Do not deprive yourself of a happy day; let not your share of desired good pass by you.
All living beings become old like a garment, for the decree from old is: ¡You must surely die!
14 : 13, 14, 17
Así hace el que teme al Eterno Creador, abraza la Ley y logra sabiduría, Como una madre le sale ella al encuentro, le acoge como una esposa virgen.
Que grande es la sabiduría del Creador, fuerte Su poder, todo lo ve. Sus ojos están sobre los que Le temen, El conoce todas las obras del hombre.
The man who fears Eternal will do this: holds the Law and obtain wisdom. She will come to meet him like a mother, and like the wife of his youth she will comes to him.
For great is the wisdom of Eternal; He is mighty in power and sees everything, His eyes are on those who fear Him, and He knows every deed of man.
15 : 1, 18, 19
Tan grande como Su misericordia es Su severidad, según sus obras juzga al hombre.
As great His mercy, so great is also His reproof, He judges a man according his deeds.
16 : 12
Vuélvete al Altísimo de los Cielos y apártate de la injusticia, odia con toda tu alma la abominación.
Return to the Most High and turn away from iniquity, and hate abomination intensely.
17 : 26,
LA NADA DEL HOMBRE:
Como gota de agua del mar, como grano de arena, tan pocos son sus años frente a la eternidad..
Por eso el Creador es paciente con ellos, y derrama sobre ellos Su misericordia. El ve y sabe que su fin es miserable, por eso multiplica Su perdón. La misericordia del hombre sólo alcanza a su prójimo, más la misericordia del Eterno abarca a todo el mundo.
El reprende, adoctrina y enseña, y hace volver, como un pastor, a Su rebaño. Tiene piedad de los que acogen la instrucción, y de los que se afanan por Sus juicios.
Like a drop of water from the sea and a grain of sand so are the few years in the day of eternity.
Therefore Eternal is patient with them and pours out His mercy upon them.
He sees and recognizes that their end will be evil; therefore He grants them forgiveness in abundance.
The compassion of Eternal is for all living beings.
He rebukes and trains and teaches them, and turns them back, as a shepherd his flock. He has compassion on those who accept his discipline and who are eager for His judgments.
18 : 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
