No se ha visto que la Torah toda haya traído a muchas personas, naciones, a todo el mundo -el universo todo- la paz y que fuese restaurada la fe de Abraham. Para ello se requerirá lograr tener la fe en la Torah, por parte de todos. Aunque la Torah fue dada sólo, una vez, por Moisés a Israel, en el Monte Sinaí ella es, esencialmente, universal, útil para toda la humanidad, sin distingo alguno. Es hacia la Torah que todos nosotros debemos ir, y de ella debemos derivar lo imprescindible de la fe, o convicción. Es correcto llamar esta fe, la “fe Abrahámica” o “fe Hebrea”, puesto que la misma misión y significado del llamado hecho a Abraham, y el subsecuente pacto con Israel, es el que se le hace a “todas las naciones para que puedan ser benditas” en el cumplimiento de aquélla- Recordemos el detalle que se describe en Génesis 12: 1 al 3, cuando el Creador trató, por primera vez, con Abram. Cualquier otra visión que se pueda tener de Abraham, o de la Torah misma, y que ignore los aspectos universales de la misma está, desde el mismo comienzo, errado! No olvidemos que dentro de la Torah se encuentran tanto el TESTIMONIO DE NUESTRO CREADOR, o Sus Diez Mandamientos, como los otros Preceptos, Leyes, Estatutos y Mandatos!
Enfatizamos que no estamos abogando por el Judaísmo como religión, o que alguien se convierta al judaísmo. Los sabios judíos y sus rabíes han desarrollado, a través de sus tradiciones orales y escritos, un entendimiento muy particular acerca de la Torah y su observancia, la cual se basa en las escrituras de su TALMUD y su MISCHNAH. Así pues, no estamos de ninguna manera abogando porque alguien se convierta al Judaísmo. Tener la fe o convicción Hebrea no es lo mismo que tener la convicción de la fe Judía. Aún así los Profetas hablan acerca de gentiles que conocen y temen al Eterno Creador, quienes se asocian con la misión de Israel, y que toman el camino del Eterno -el Camino de Abraham- lo que en sí mismo es una bendición para todos los pueblos de nuestro planeta.
La mayoría de los Gentiles han asumido que las enseñanzas de la Torah “son cosa e interés de los Judíos”, y así es como han considerado a la Torah una “reliquia histórica”, increíblemente irrelevante en este “mundo moderno Cristiano” nuestro. Así las cosas, las Escrituras Hebreas enseñan que existe una forma válida de la fe hacia la Torah. como también que la misma es una observancia obligante para toda la humanidad. La SHEMA nos habla de “poned estos mandamientos dentro de tu corazón”, y de “hablar de ellos” constantemente. El Rey David habló acerca de “meditar en la Torah día y noche”. Pocos mandatos de la Torah se han estimulado entre nosotros, y muchos los que se han olvidado! Uno solo tiene que ojear lo que se describe en las palabras consignadas en los capítulos de Levítico 18 al 20, o los capítulos de Deuteronomio 12 al 25, para llegar a comprender la vital relevancia e importancia que tienen los mismos para toda la humanidad! Es por ello que deberíamos, “…conocer que no sólo de pan vive el hombre, sino que el hombre vive de todo lo que sale de la boca del Eterno Creador” (Deuteronomio 8:3).
Esto es algo que se refleja en el NUEVO TESTAMENTO Cristiano pero, acotamos, que si ellos siguieran las palabras de Lucas 4:4, que es un reflejo de Deuteronomio 8:3, todos siguieran la Torah. Ésta abarca TODOS LOS ASPECTOS de la vida humana como son, las “relaciones sociales”, la “justicia económica”, la “salud e higiene”, la “ecología”, La “justicia criminal”, la “conducta sexual”, y así sucesivamente. La Torah es sólo un bosquejo, fraguado en un lugar de la Antigua Israel, acerca de un CAMINO DE JUSTICIA Y RECTITÚD para toda la humanidad. Y, hasta que toda la humanidad se vuelva a los principios de la Torah, continuaremos sufriendo todos los malees colectivos, y de todos los horrores que nuestros ojos han testimoniado en el transcurrir de toda nuestra historia humana!
Los Profetas hacen muy claro, en sus escritos, todo lo anterior. El colapso de nuestras sociedades humanas, y el juicio que ha de venir sobre todas las naciones, en “aquéllos días”, el GRAN Y TERRIBLE DÍA DEL ETERNO”, se basará en el desprecio que hemos estado mostrando hacia el CAMINO REVELADO por nuestro Creador, en Su Torah! (Isaías 24:59 al 66)-
La Torah es mucho más que sólo mandamientos y preceptos! Contiene una fundamental, clara y abierta herencia que nos puede proveer la FELICIDAD ETERNA. Contiene una narrativa medular, y fundamental, que bien nos provee de los fundamentos para la CONVICCIÓN inalterable!
Todos los Profetas Hebreos caminaron mano a mano con la Torah! Se presentan ante nosotros en su antigua vestimenta, reflejando las condiciones de la Israel y Judá de su época, desde el octavo hasta el quinto siglos, antes de la era común (A.E.C.). Ellos nos preservaron un total y válido comentario acerca del Eterno mismo en todos aquéllos aspectos de la vida humana, y su sociedad! Pero, nos preguntamos, ¿son aquéllas las mismas palabras del Creador que se han ignorado porque están en el contexto de la Antigua Israel? Cualquiera que haya estudiado profundamente, sin prejuicio alguno, los libros de Isaías, Jeremías, Amos, o Miqueas logrará la impresión de que los Profetas hablan acerca de toda la Torah, ya que ella tiene una relevancia a perpetuidad, actualizada en el tiempo mismo, como bien lo podemos experimentar al leer. todas las mañanas y a diario, en la prensa local y mundial. Más aún, grandes segmentos de los escritos de los profetas se refieren directamente a “aquellos días últimos”. Concluyamos diciendo que importantes porciones de sus palabras proféticas son más bien para nosotros, y no para la Antigua Israel!



El ETERNO es una deidad de y para la historia humana. Su Camino y Su Plan se ha revelado en Sus Escrituras, y se han cumplido en el tiempo y la historia nuestra. Esto requiere que esté históricamente condicionada para que se dé en un tiempo específico, y en un lugar determinado por Él. Pero, en su aplicación, la misma revelación de todas las Escrituras Hebreas debe ser universalmente relevante para toda la humanidad.
Cada individuo, al buscar directamente una relación sincera con su Creador, encontrará su propio camino de poder expresar la fe o convicción, observando apropiadamente toda la TORAH, y en la situación que se le presente. Obviamente que se necesita una interpretación lógica, pero lo que no se puede pensar es en el hecho de que el Eterno Creador vaya a permitir que se abrogue, o se ignore parte alguna de la misma!
Como un hecho práctico vemos cómo las Iglesias Cristianas se han estado empobreciendo, más y más, de las riquezas que provienen del estudio profundo, y sumiso, de la TORAH y de los libros de los Profetas. Esto anterior nada tiene que ver con una discusión con “el legalismo de la ley y la gracia”, o la de “ganar y obtener la salvación”. Aún así, la mayoría del contenido de la Torah, se ha abrogado, y ha venido a formar parte del tan mal llamado “Antiguo Testamento”, en el que uno, en ocasiones, pudiera consultar para obtener un “conocimiento histórico”. Millones de personas hablan acerca de que ellos “no pueden entender el Antiguo Testamento” o del hecho que “no pueden identificar a ese “Dios” del Antiguo Testamento”.
La profunda nutrición espiritual que proviene de meditar en las verdaderas Palabras de nuestro Eterno Creador, tal como están reveladas en la Torah y en los Profetas, se ha perdido entre muchísimos cristianos. A su vez, ellos mismos tratan de “apegarse” al Nuevo Testamento que esta totalmente distanciado del contexto histórico Israelita, y supremamente interpolado con otros textos malamente traducidos y presentados en su propia “vestimenta pagana-helenística”. Con toda seguridad que nunca habrán de decir que ninguno de los supuestos escritores del Nuevo Testamento tuvieron en su mano un Nuevo Testamento. Todos ellos recurrieron a las Sagradas Escrituras Hebreas que fueron preservadas por el mismo pueblo de Israel; especialmente por los miembros de la Tribu de Leví, a quienes el Creador escogió para Sí y para Su servicio en el Templo. En consecuencia, el mensaje cristiano que la mayoría oye, domingo a domingo, desde sus púlpitos, esta despojado completamente de un poder espiritual eficiente y verídico. Están desprovistos del “entendimiento” acerca del Eterno Creador, de saber y estar ciertos que Él es el ÚNICO SER DIVINO autor de la TORAH, y del pueblo de Israel, Su primogénito; conceptos éstos que son PILARES DE LA FE ESCRITURAL HEBREA!
Interminablemente uno oye acerca del tema de la aceptación de un ser que llaman “Cristo”, y nos dicen que podemos “entrar a los cielos” cuando muramos. ¡Cuán trágico todo ello¡ Éste abortado mensaje de ninguna manera refleja la gran revelación que las Escrituras Hebreas nos proveen. Millones de ellos en verdad han vendido sus “derechos de primogenitura” por un potaje sucio y mentiroso! Se admiran, por ello, del por qué sus frenéticos y emocionales programas de “sálvese usted-ayude a otro” no pueden satisfacer a nadie!
Se cuestionan el por qué el Creador no es “real” para ellos, y del por qué parece que nunca pueden encontrar satisfacciones en su estilo y modo de vida. Mientras ello sucede, nuestra sociedad es como un paso de agua que se derrama sobre un caos moral; lo que a su vez, en verdad, viene a ser en realidad una tragedia espantosa por sus consecuencias.
La poderosa, directa, y viviente PALABRA DEL CREADOR no se oye en toda la tierra; y para que lo pueda comprobar, léase a Isaías 59; todo el capítulo! Este es el MENSAJE que necesitamos que resuenen desde los púlpitos, manifestando con voz en cuello, y bien alto, que debemos CONOCER, y OBEDECER para poder agradar al CREADOR de todo!
Lamentamos que los cristianos hayan errado, por mucho tiempo, las riquezas de las fuentes preservadas por el pueblo Judío, y el profundo estudio de las Escrituras de nuestro HACEDOR ´ÚNICO! No existe nada que se pueda comparar con la riqueza, profundidad, perspicacia espiritual, y conocimiento que se puede lograr sólo en el estudio profundo y sincero de las Sagradas Escrituras Hebreas, como también del conocimiento técnico del lenguaje Hebreo. Judíos devotos de todo el mundo siguen un ciclo semanal de lectura y estudio de la Torah, y de los Profetas, buscando con ello “vivir por toda palabra que ha procedido de Su boca”. Los resultados así obtenidos son fenomenales, esplendorosos!
Oremos en profundo arrepentimiento y gratitud: “Oh Eterno Padre, Creador del Cosmos y sus
Universos, venimos ante Tu misma Sala de Control del cosmos, allá en el tercer cielo, a agradecerte por el conocimiento que nos has estado dando, y agradecerte, Oh Padre, por el conocimiento acerca de la fe de Abraham, la fe Hebrea que es la verdadera fe o convicción que el mundo necesita. Es nuestra convicción que, un día ya por venir, el mundo tendrá que vivir esa fe. Y, Oh Eterno, en cuanto sigamos esperando en Ti, y aprendiendo acerca de Tu Camino, tratando de vivir por él, necesitamos cantar con Tu fuerza y con Tu espíritu Santo, todas Tus proezas y maravillas. Te solicitamos que nos guíes y dirijas nuestros pasos para pode permanecer más cerca de Ti, ya que el mundo necesita que este mensaje suene grandemente, y anunciando que Tú eres el ÚNICO CREADOR, que Tu Camino es llano, puro, y simple! Que ese Camino Tuyo habrá de traer felicidad perpetua a éste mundo enfermo y moribundo. Por lo tanto, Padre, ayúdanos a promover el estudio sincero de Tu palabra. Ayúdanos a promover Tu Torah y Tu Obra, como también en la reunificación de Israel y Judáh, bajo el Reino Mileneal de Tu siervo el Rey David, el Mashiach que Tu escogiste para Tu pueblo Israel. Gracias a Ti por todo. ¡Que así sea¡



PAPAS, ANTIPAPAS Y SUS PECADILLOS
=I=
Vamos a efectuar un viaje alrededor de Papas y Antipapas para ver si ellos representan la virtud y santidad que tanto se alardea y poder ver si sus conductas han sido válidas para tomarlas como modelo y considerar si la Raza Humana esta en deuda con ellos.
Dejemos en claro que muchos de ellos no fueron tan letrados como se piensa. Más bien muchos de ellos no sabían aún leer y menos firmar su propio nombre.
Después de Pedro, el primer Papa, se suceden varios más a lo largo de más de 2000 años de historia Cristiana. Nombraremos algunos de ellos que se distinguieron, por así decir, en sus respectivos reinados papales.
Comenzaremos con el tercer Papa después de Pedro.

CLEMENTE I: Nacido en Roma. Diferentes fuentes ofrecen fechas diferentes con respecto a su reinado. El Anuario Pontificio, da las fechas de 88 al 97, y la Cronología de Paul Harvey da las fechas del 91 al 101.
Se cuenta, aunque no existen evidencias ciertas que fue sentenciado a trabajos forzados en Crimen y que allí fue martirizado atándolo a un ancla y tirado al mar. Por ésya sóla razón se convirtió en el santo de los marineros.

TELÉSFORO: Nacido en Grecia. Papa entre el 125 y 136. Enumera él catorce obispos martirizados, pero tal información no se puede verificar sino por la misma palabra de Telésforo. Entre los años 132 al 135 se lleva a efecto la última revuelta de Bar Coba, el judío, y se borra de los mapas tanto a Judea como a Jerusalén y todo el sur de Siria se rebautiza como Palestina.

HIGINIO: Nacido en Grecia. Papa entre el 136 y 140 según el Anuario Pontificio. El Emperador de su época fue Antonius Pius.

PIO I: Nacido en Aquilea (Siria)y, según el Anuario Pontificio, reinó hasta el 155. Su nombre, Aniceto Naiff. Reinó entre el 140 y el 155, siendo Emperador Marco Aurelio.

SOTER: Nacido en Campania. Papa entre el 166 y el 175 según el Anuario Pontificio, o según otra fuente entre el 165 al 174. Este Papa trasladó la fiesta de Nisan 14, o Pascua Hebrea, para el Domingo siguiente. Durante su reinado el Obispo de Corintio escribió que “los Cristianos están cambiando y falsificando sus propias cartas y Evangelios.”(Chronolgy de Paul Harvey)

VICTOR I:Nacido en Africa, Papa entre el 189 al 199, según el Anuario Pontificio. Fue el primer papa latino. Excomulgó a las iglesias de Oriente que continuaron guardando la Pascua Hebrea o Nisan 14.

CALIXTO I: Nacido en Roma. Fue esclavo de un patrono Cristiano conocido como Carporphorus. Se vió involucrado en algunos asuntos financieros que lo llevó a ser sentenciado a trabajos forzados en las canteras de Sardinia. Después de haber sido oído en juicio, fue puesto en libertad y regresa de nuevo a la Iglesia por el Papa Zeferino (198-217). Él ordenó a muchos clérigos casados. Algunos de ellos tres veces casados. Insistió en que el sexo era saludable y recomendable y que el abortoi, natural o inducido, no era pecado (Unzipped: The Popes Bare All, de Arthur Frederic Ide.,pg.101)

HIPÓLITO: Un Antipapa. Fue Obispo de Roma entre 1l 217 al 236. Creador de la Secta Logos. (Cronology de P. Harvey)

FABIÁN: Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 236 al 250. Se lleva a cabo la primera persecución bajo el Emperadort Decius (249-251) y se publica el Edicto del 250 donde se hace un esfuerzo por establecer la unidad pública como también se compele a los Cristianos que efectúen sacrificios a sus “viejos dioses.”( Unzzipped:..de A.F. Ide)

ESTEBAN I: Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 254 y 257. Surge en su reinado un gran Sisma y se les rebautiza como herejes y apostatas. Se hace efectiva la Segunda Persecución contra todos aquellos que no apoyen al estado, pagando los impuestos y el servicio militar. Todo ello bajo el gobierno del Emperador Valerio (257-258) (Chronology de P. Harvey)

SIXTO II: Nacido en Grecia. Papa entre el 257 y el 258. Fue considerado por la Iglesia como Santo y llevado al papado mientras dirigía a los fieles en el cementerio de Prastextatus, en la via Apia. Fue muerto a espada.

MARCELINO :Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 296 al 304. Tercera persecución religiosa que se efectuó entre el 303 al 311 bajo el gobierno del Emperador Dioclesiano (284-305) Apóstata que ofrecía sacrificios paganos para agradar a Dioclesiano. La gran persecución sucedió entre el 303 al 304 (Adan, Eve and the Serpent, de Elaine Pagels, p.124)

MARCELO I: Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 308 y el 309. Trató de remover a su antecesor, Marcelino, por apóstata. Fue exiliado de Roma por el Emperador Maxentius por disturbar la paz en Roma. En el 306 se efectúa l Sínodo de Elvira que prohíbe comer, casarse y tener sexo entre Cristianos y Judíos.

SILVESTRE I: Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 314 al 335. En el 315 se efectúa el Concilio de Anayra y Neocesarea donde se permite el matrimonio de los Diáconos y otros miembros de menor categoría eclesial (Unzzipped:..Ibid.p.95). En el 321 el Emperador Constantino (306-307) autoriza que los Cristianos pueden actuar como una corporación y recibir herencias, pero se prohíbe el trabajar en Sábado. En el 325, en el mes de Mayo el Concilio de Nicea establece la Naturaleza Divina de Jesús.

JULIO I:Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 337 al 352. Durante su pontificado el Emperador Constantino se convierte al Cristianismo en su lecho de muerte..

LIBERIO: Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 17 de Mayo de 352 al 24 de Septiembre del 336.Uno de los papas que no se le considera “santo” por la Iglesia. Muy popular entre las damas de Roma, Muy probable que fuese gay o bisexual. Asignó a varios “hombres y jóvenes angelicales” a ciertos cargos. Intimidado por Constancio a acep`tarel credo Ariano y oponerse a la homosexualidad (ca. Del 306). A la mujerte de Constantius Liberius puso al lado el Arrianismo y retornó a la “Ortodoxia Nicena” y restaura en sus cargos a sus “jovencitos angelicales.” Entre el 361 al 363 el Emperador Julian, el apóstata, trata de restablecer el paganismo. (Chronolgy, Ibid)

DAMASO I: Nacido en España, Papa entre el 1 de Octubre del 366 al 11 de Diciembre del 384. Hijo de un sacerdote. Su pontificado fue uno marcado con la brutalidad, asesinatos, y de una lucha sórdida dentro del palacio Luterano en búsqueda de supremacía. San Jerome se lamentaba, en la obra Libellus, de la “abundancia de licensias sexuales”, de la “corrupción sexual” y de la “degradación personal” en su reinado.(Unzzipped:..Ibid) Primer papa en vivir con un atavío principesco durante las ceremonias; característica en el Vaticano desde los tiempos post-Constantino.(AES.,Ibid.pgs.90-91) Contrató asesinos para masacrar a sus rivales Ursinianos (Liberianos). En el 364 el Concilio de Laodicea decreta la muerte de todo Cristiano que guarde el día Sábado.. El 27 de Febrero del 380, El Emperador Theodosio declara el Cristianismo como la religión oficial y estatal. En el 381 el mismo emperador convierte en herejía todo crimen cometido contra el estado. (AES,Ibid.p.62). En el 383 Damian I ordena a Jerome la revisión y unificación de la Biblia Latina, y en el 384 Jerome presenta al papa los “nuevos Evangelios Latinos”, y cuyos originales se “perdieron”

SIRICIUS : Nacido en Roma. Papa entre Diciembre del 384 al 26 de Noviembre del 398 o al 399 según el Anuario Pontificio. El primer pontífice que demanda el celibato (castidad perpetua) dentro del sacerdocio. Se convirtió en Obispo al tomar el título de PAPA (Padre). En el 394 la misa se convierte en una celebración diaria y prohíbe, en el 395, las prácticas paganas, incluyendo la celebración de las Olimpíadas.


PAPAS, ANTIPAPAS Y SUS PECADILLOS
=II=



ZOZIMUS: Nacido en Grecia. Ya para su tiempo los papas habían aprendido el uso de sus propios propósitos y deseos no sólo en las censuras eclesiásticas sino también en el uso del poder imperial. Sus amigos y compañeros Agustín y Alipio, trajeron consigo 80 sementales Namibios, como soborno, a la corte imperial, y tuvieron éxito al encontrar ayuda para irse en contra de Pelagio. El resultado obtenido le agradó a Agustín y en Abril del 418 no sólo obtuvo que el papa excomulgara. a Pelagio sino que el Emperador Honorio lo declaró hereje y ordenó su expulsión, retirándolo de su oficio y lo exilió en unión de todos sus intransigentes colaboradores.(AES. pgs.129-130)

LEO I: Nacido en Toscania. Papa entre el 29 de Septiembre del 440 al 10 de Noviembre del 461. Se le conoce mayormente como el Papa Leo el Grande. A diferencia de sus antecesores, resistió las incursiones de los Vándalos. Fue un hombre de armas. Se le acredita la frase “Petri Dignitas etiam indigno herede non defecit” es decir, “La dignidad de Pedro no merece un indigno heredero.
También se pronunció en contra delñ matrimonio de las monjas puesto que ya estaban casadas con Jesús.(UZ.pg.38). En el 445 el teutón Odoacer virtualmente destruyó el Imperio Romano Occidental. Para combatirlo el Emperador Valentiano III oprdenó que todos debían obedecer al pòmntífice Romano ya que tenía “la supremacía de San Pedro”. En el 451 el Concilio de Calcedonia declaró como “verdad” las dos naturalezas de Jesús, una divina y otra humana. Esta fue, en realidad, una solución-compromiso en contra del sisma surgido alrededor del concepto Jesús/hombre. En el 455 los Vándalos saquean Roma y, entre el 457 al 474, el Papa Leo I se convierte en el Emperador de lo que quedaba del Imperio Romano, en su porción occidental.(PH)

FELIX II: Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 13 de Marzo del 483 al 1 de Marzo del 492.
También se le conoce como Felix III, debido a un error cometido en la numeración de la antigua lista de papas. Hijo de un aristócrata sacerdote. Su elección fue forzada por Basilio, el prefecto Pretoriano de Ordoacer, Rey de Italia (476-493). Autoritario y difícil de tratar. Como persona. Se opuso al matrimonio tanto de papas como de clérigpos. Tuvo, al menos, dos niños, que fueron enterrados con él y su esposa en la Basílica de San Pablo.(UZ, pg.127))

GELASIO I: Probablemente nacido en África aunque también se cree nació en Roma, de padres procedentes del Norte de África. Afirmó la primacía de la Santa Sede Romana como lo es la subordinación de lo temporal a lo espiritual (ADS,Ibid) Fue el primer “Vicario de Cristo”(PH) Se pronunció también en contra del matrimonio de las monjas, ya que estaban casadas con Jesús.(UZ, pg.127)

ANASTASIO II: Hijo de un sacerdote y nacido en Roma. El segundo de los papas de la antigüedad que no se le considera santo por parte de la Iglesia.

SYMACCUS: Natural de Sardinia y convertido del paganismo. Papa entre el 22 de Noviembre del 498 al 19 de Julio del 514. Impopular. Fue conocido durante su papado no sólo por lo incasto sino por ser ladrón y bandido, que hizo mal uso de las propiedades de la Iglesia y sus riquezas. Posiblemente homosexual. Se pronunció, también, en contra del matrimonio de las monjas. En el año 500 introduce el uso del incienso dentro de los servicios de la Iglesia; se inician los primeros proyectos para la construcción del Vaticano actual. En el 502 se entrega la doctrina papal sobre las leyes terrenales, mismas que sólo las puede juzgar Dios.

LAURENCIO: Antipapa en el 498. Obispo de Nuceria apoyado por Odoacer para derrocar a Symaccus y ponerlo en prisión. Declaraba su superioridad sobre Symaccus porque su vida era una sin mancha alguna y no tuvo “niños” en su vivienda.(UZ.p.158)

HORMISDAS: Nace en Frosinone.Papa entre el 20 de Julio del 514 y el 6 de Agosto del 525. Casado antes que fuese ordenado y padre de Silverio. En el 519 las Iglesias del este y oeste se reconcilian.

JUAN I: Nace en Toscania. Anciano y enfermizo. Se le declaró “santo” por la Iglesia. Realizó espléndidas procesiones y grandes manifestaciones por la vejación causada al Emperador Teodirico.(UZ.p.17). En el 535 Diniosios Exiguus implanta el calendario Cristiano, A.D., y declara el nacimiento de Jesús el día 23 de Diciembre del año 1 (PH). El 526 es el advenimiento de la práctica de la Extremaunción.(GC) y (The Great Controversy Between Christ and the Devil, de E.G.White).

FELIX III o FELIX IV: Nace en Samniun. Gana el papado a través del favor real de la Reina viuda Amalashunta, regente de Athalarico (526-534). Especialmente se apegó, a gran número de jóvenes a quienes ordenó sacerdotes trayendo así, según su criterio, “lo mejor de la Casa de Dios” a la Iglesia. Su favorito fue Bonifacio II, a quien designó su sucesor, creando así una gran brecha en la Ley del Canon.(UZ.,pg.158).

BONIFACIO II: Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 22 de Septiembre del 530 al 17 de Octubre del 532. El tercero de los papas antiguos no considerado “santo” por la Iglesia, Archidiácono del Papa Felix III y primer papa de origen Alemán; corrupto, déspota, brutal y tan vanal como su antecesor. También tuvo su “favorito”, Vigilius, a quien designó su sucesor. Ello alienó al clero y por ende solicitó revocar la nominación y ordenó quemar el documento sellado. A su muerte la Iglesia descansó y se tomó dos meses y medio para poderle designar un sucesor.(UZ.,p.159)
En el 530 hubo otro antipapa que se llamó DIOSCURUS.

Aparentemente le pagó a la Emperatriz Teodora y a los Electores, 770 libras de oro para asegurar el Oficio. Cometió innumerables crímenes, involucrando entre ellos el de Silverio. Conspiró con Teodora y el Emperador Justiniano para excomulgar a los Obispos del Norte de África en el 550.(PH)..
En el 538 el Tercer Sínodo de Orleáns exige que los Judíos permanezcan dentro de sus residencias en la semana de la “Pasión”(PH).

PELAGIO: Papa entre el 556 al 561, nacido en Roma.

GREGORIO I: Nacido en Roma dentro de una familia riquísima y de antecedentes Patricios. Irascible, orgulloso, inescrupuloso. Se dedicó a reunir riquezas y poder para la Iglesia. Hostil para con la cultura y aprendizaje. Quemó la única colección de libros que permanecieron en Roma en Roma desde los días del paganismo. Ordenó que se rompiesen las estatuas de mármol que allí existían. De acuerdo al honorable Bede
y al cronista Whitby, el papa Gregorio I tuvo una inclinación muy particular hacia los niños blancos y hermosos de cuerpo, de cabellos rubios procedentes de las regiones del norte de Europa y de Escandinavia. Ahora se le considera “santo” por parte de la Iglesia.(UZ.pgs.16 y 35).Siri
En el 593 se libró del Rey Agilulf quien amenazaba Roma. En ese mismo año estableció la Doctrina del Purgatorio.(GC) y en el 600 las oraciones dirigidas a Maria, los Santos y Ángeles se convirtieron en el lenguaje común y corriente de la Liturgia Católica.(GC).
Desde el 13 de Septiembre del 604 al año 708 se sucedieron 24 Papas nada importantes. Fueron ellos:
Sabinianus (604-606); Bonifacio III (607-615); Bonifacio IV (608-615); Deusdedit (615-618); Bonifacio V (619 al 625); Honorio I (625-638); Severino (638-640); Juan IV (640-621); Teodoro I (642-649); Marín I (649-653); Eugenio I (654-657); Vitaliano (657-672); Adeodatus (6722-676); Donus (676-678); Agato (678-681); Leo II (682-683): Benedicto II (684-685); Juan V (685-686) nacido en Siria; Conon (686-687); Sergio I (687-701), también nacido en Siria; Pascual o Pascal, un antipapa (687); Teodoro (687), antipapa; Juan VI, nacido en Grecia y no considerado como santo (701-705); Juan VII (705-707), nacido en Grecia; Sininio (708-708) nacido en Siria y considerado “no santo”; Constantino (708-715), nacido en Siria, también considerado “no santo”.
En el 709 se establece la práctica de besar los pies del Papa, impuesto por el mismo Constantino. Se suceden, a continuación, diez papas más, sin gloria ni pena alguna.
Gregorio II (Mayo 19 del 715 al 11 Febrero del 731 a quien se le consideró santo; Gregorio III, santo, nacido en Siria (18 de Marzo del 753 al 29 de Noviembre del 741); Zacarías (Diciembre 3 del 741 al 22 Marzo del 752), nacido en Grecia y santo.
En el 750 se conforma el poder temporal del Papa por parte del Rey franco Pepín el Corto. Esteban II , quien muere antes de ser consagrado(752-752); Esteban III o Esteban II (25 de Marzo del 753 al 26 Abril 757) , amante de las orgías, se complacía en sacarle los ojos y lengua a sus enemigos(UZ.pg 60); Pablo I (29 de Mayo del 757 al 28 de Junio del 767), santo, muere cuando se le extrae el corazón; Constantino II, antipapa (767); Felipe, antipapa (767), Esteban II o Esteban IV, según otra fuente, nacido en Sicilia (768-772), no santo; Hadrian I (772-795), no considerado santo; en su reinado se establece la adoración de la cruz y de las reliquias, y todo ello sancionado oficialmente por la Iglesia.(GC).

PAPAS, ANTIPAPAS Y SUS PECADILLOS
=III=
León III: Nacido en Roma, Papa entre el 26 de Diciembre del 795 al 12 de Junio del 816. Se cuenta que fue un papa que le gustaba el coqueteo. Posiblemente homosexual. Bajo posibles presiones encontró apoyo en Karl Der Grosse ( o Carlomagno).y por ello fue recíproco con él al coronarlo como Emperador el 25 de Diciembre del 800 y Rey de los Francos en la mismísima Catedral de San Pedro.. Al final, se le extrajeron los ojos y seccionada su lengua por sus dos sobrinos que él mismo había promovido, y a quienes les permitió más y más sus perfidias, adulterios y perjurios.(UZ.,pgs. 60,.83,103 y 160)
ADRIANO II: Nacido en Roma. Papa entre el 14 Diciembre del 872 al 16 Diciembre del 882. Falsificó documentos, violó monjas en el convento, extrajo los ojos de los maridos carnudos, y a la mujeres que se oponían a sus deseos sexuales las desnudaba y las golpeaba con látigos mientras eran arrastradas por asnos. Por lo menos engendró un hijo.
JUAN VIII: Papa entre el 14 de Diciembre del 872 al 16 de Diciembre del 882. Elogiado grandemente por la Curia por su indeferencia hacia las solicitudes de misericordia para con los condenados a muerte. Clamó que, como Vicario de Cristo, él se “sentaba para dar justicia y corregir al género humano de todos sus errores, fuere a costa de lo que fuere”. Envenenado por su séquito en razón de sus constantes intervenciones en las nominaciones episcopales y su negativa a permitir la disolución del matrimonio católico. Se rumoraba de “su laxitud hacia los herejes y los actos sexuales”.Como el envenenamiento no surgió el efecto esperado, fue muerto a golpes. (UZ.,pg. 60, 71)
ADRIANO III: Papa entre el 17 de Mayo del 884 a Septiembre del 885. Le gustaba flagelar las mujeres en las calles de Roma. Fue muerto a golpes por la vendetta y de forma tan horrible que fue enterrado en el mismo lugar donde fue muerto y cayeron sus despojos, en la Abadía de Nonantula.(UZ.pg.61)
FORMOSUS: Papa entre el 6 de Octubre del 891 al 7 Abril del 896. Este papa fue desenterrado desenterró por otro, Esteban VII o Esteban VI, vestido con sus ropas papales y puesto sobre un trono donde se le enjuició por perjurio y violación de varios Cánones, se le cortó los tres dedos de la mano derecha, con los que se jura, y tirado, posteriormente, al Tiber.(UZ.p.100)
BONIFACIO VI: Papa entre Abril del 896 y Abril del 896. Sacerdote con hábito, hijo de un obispo, gobernó sólo un mes; inmoral, sobornó al populacho de Roma para forzarlos a que lo eligieran como tal. Los anales de la Iglesia lo clasifican como “un hombre que amaba más el dinero y las mujeres que las oraciones”. Y que “sus crímenes eran tan odiosos como para mencionarlos”. Posiblemente era homosexual. Su papado sólo duró QUINCE DÍAS!
ESTEBAN VI O ESTEBAN VII: Nacido en Roma y Papa entre Mayo del 896 a Agosto del 897. Hijo de un presbítero acusado de perjurio. Acusado de violar los Cánones. Enamoradizo. Mutiló el cadáver del Papa Formosus a quien desenterró para tal efecto. Nunca negó el hecho de haber tenido sexo con cadáveres. Fue depuesto, despojado de su cargo y llevado a una cárcel donde, poco después, fue estrangulado.
LEÓN v: Papa entre Agosto del 903 a Septiembre del 903. Nació en Ardea y murió a principios del 904, estrangulado por el Papa Sergio III,
CRISTOFER: Este Papa no es reconocido por la Iglesia. Murió a principios del 904, en prisión, y también fue estrangulado por el papa Sergio III.
SERGIO III: Nacido en Roma y Papa entre el 24 de Enero del 904 al 14 o 15 de Abril del 911. Padre de Juan XI y cuya madre fue Senatrix Marozia, la hija de 15 años de la emperatriz Teodora. Hizo uso de la violencia para poder mantener la ortodoxia dentro de la Iglesia. Personalmente estranguló a León V y a Cristofer después de haberlos “confesado” y “bendecido” sus cuellos. Cuando el prelado de la Iglesia Oriental, Nicolás I el Místico, se rehúsa satisfacer los deseos del Emperador León VI (886-912) de otorgarle el divorcio para volverse a casar, Sergio III, posteriormente, lo hace por aquél. León VI remueve de su cargo y envía al exilio a Nicolás I.(UZ.p.61,1901,104).
JUAN X: Nacido en Tossignano. Papa entre Marzo-Abril del 914 a Mayo del 928. Este papa fue el más guerrero de los que hayan existido. Perdió la confianza del pueblo de Roma porque permitió un complot de su hermano al haber traído un grupo de Magiares a Roma. Estuvo preso en el Castillo de San Ángelo, donde fue sofocado hasta morir en manos de su propia madre, Marozia, decana de la Casa de Teofilacto, mujer cuya ambición no tenía límites. En el 927 se establece el Colegio Cardenalicio.(UZ y GC).
LEÓN VI : Nace en Roma, Dependió totalmente de Marozia Thephylact . Fue llamada “la Gran Prostituta” por parte del Cardenal Baronius.(UZ.p.110)
JUAN XI: Nace en Roma.Papa entre Feb-Marzo del 932 a Enero del 936. Hijo ilegítimo del papa Sergio III,en Marozia. Él mismo ofició el matrimonio de su madre, su tercer matrimonio, con Hugo de Provenza, Rey de Italia (926-948). Alberico II, hijo de Marozia, en su primer matrimonio, (ca. 905-954) se ofendió con tal matrimonio y atacó el Castillo de San Ángelo hasta que puso fin al matrimonio. Posteriormente aquél depuso a Juan XI poniéndolo bajo arresto domiciliario (sólo en sus funciones eclesiásticas) y lo mantuvo, según el cronista Flodoard, como su esclavo personal. Posiblemente también era homosexual.(UZ.ps.71,101,107,160).
ESTEBAN VIII o ESTEBAN IX: Nació en Roma. Papa entre el 14 de Julio del 939 y Octubre del 942.Hombre ilustrado y reformador. Obtuvo el trono por mediación de Alberico II, hijo de Marozia como ya dijimos antes. Se propuso “purgar las injusticias” de toda Roma. Conspiró, después, contra el mismo Alberico II. Su complot falló y fue muerto, personalmente, por el mismo Alberico II bajo una prolongada y “suave” tortura, vilipendiándolo, y usando la misma copa de veneno que aquél quizo usar contra él. (UZ.p.62)
JUAN XII: Nacido en Tusculum. Sube al papado a los 18 años. Hijo bastardo de Alberico II. No mostró interés alguno por las cosas espirituales. Un degenerado que hacía uso de la violencia para conservar la Ortodoxia. Su reinado, uno de rancios rencores, se vio marcado por sus sobornos, corrupción y venalidad personales. Invocaba dioses paganos. Cortó lenguas y narices entre sus enemigos y tomaba para sí las esposas de sus opositores como una forma de destruir sus familias. Las violaciones se caracterizaron como si él mismo dijera las misas. En el Sínodo de San Pedro, en Noviembre del 963, fue declarado cesante , pero regresó una segunda vez sobornando al otro Sínodo reunido un 26 de Febrero del 964.
Como se complacía en violar las esposas de sus contrarios, en uno de esos actos, y al punto de tener orgasmo, le dio un paro cardiaco (a los 26 años). La Iglesia considera que su reinado fue hasta el 964.(UZps.18,63,86,108)
Le suceden, en su orden, seis papas:
LEÓN VIII (963-965) ; BENEDIXTO V (964-965); JUAN XIII (965-972); BENEDIXTO VI (973-974) quien fue estrangulado por un sacerdote llamado Esteban y quien pensaba sucederle; BENEDIXTO VII (974-983), aristócrata Romano y quien tuvo un reinado “sosegado”; y JUAN XIV (983-984), hijo de un sacerdote llamado León. Fue tan impopular entre los Romanos que Bonifacio VII, quien lo envenenó, pudo regresar al papado.(UZ P.63).
BONIFACIO VII: Papa entre Junio y-Julio del 984. Fue un engañador y ladrón sin igual. Hizo uso de los tesoros del vaticano con mucha frecuencia para suplir sus necesidades personales, Fue asesinado un 20 de Julio del 985 y su cuerpo despedazado, arrastrado por las calles y expuesto desanudo bajo la estatua de marco Aurelio y enfrente al Palacio Luterano, pisoteado y atravesado con espadas después de lo anterior. Su nombre, Bonifacio, se convirtió en sinónimo de “maleficio”. La Iglesia, para limpiarse de tal malandro, lo reclasificó, en el 1904, como un antipapa.. En el 995, bajo el papado de Juan XV se crea la ordenación de los “santos” dentro de la Iglesia Católica. Éste papa murió, como ya vimos, violentamente.
JUAN XVI:Nacido en Grecia. Su nombre de pila, Juan Philogathus. Intelectual y amigo de las iglesias de Oriente y Occídente. Fue depuesto por su antecesor, Gregorio V, (996-999) quien lo castró y puso en prisión en un monasterio, donde murió un 26 de de Agosto del 1001. Se le clasifica como antipapa.(UZ.p.64). En el 998 se da inicio, bajo su reinado, la práctica del “ayuno” en día de Viernes, durante la Pascua Cristiana. (GC).
Le siguen, ahora, tres papas. Son ellos:
.SILVESTRE II (999-1003); JUAN XVII (1003-1003) y JUAN XVIII(1003-1012). Todos ellos, sin gloria ni pena alguna.!

SERGIO IV: Nacido en Roma. Se le conoce con el remoquete de “Bucca Porci”, es decir “Boca de marrano”. Obispo de Albano, se alió con Juan II Crescencio, dictador de Roma entre el 1003 y 1012. Ambos fueron muertos por el populacho Romano en 1012.(UZ.p.64)


PAPAS, ANTIPAPAS Y SUS PECADILLOS

BENEDIXTO IX:Nacido en Tusculum.Papa entrfe el 1012 y el 1024). Amante de las artes marciales y un excelente general. Tuvo su propio ejército para poder solidificar su poder. Personalmente dirigió las fuerzas papales que recobraron a Sardinia, de manos de los Españoles mahometanos. Peleó en muchas batallas declarando que “la sangre llenará el Santo Grial”. En el Sínodo de Pavía se aprobó, oficialmente, por primera vez, la prohibición del matrimonio entre los sacerdotes de la Iglesia Católica.(UZ, p.66).
GREGORIO: Antipapa en el 1012.
JUAN XIX: Nacido en Tusculum. Su nombre, Romanus. Hermano de Benedicto VIIII.
BENEDIXTO IX: Nacido en Tusculum. Sobrino de Juan XIX (hijo de Theophylact quien financió las elecciones>). Papa a los 10 0 m12 años. Vil, venal, corrupto hasta la saciedad, inclinado, muy especialmente, a entretenimientos donde se observaban copulando asnos y osos. Plagado de escándalos que le hicieron perder, por dos veces, el trono papal. (Sus dos gobiernos entre un 21 de octubre de 1032 y 1 de Marzo del 1045 y un 10 de Marzo del 1045 a un 1 de Mayo del 1045 y otro más entre un 8 de Noviembre del 1047 y un 16 de Julio de 1048). Su segundo reinado lo obtuvo con ayuda de mercenarios y el tercero lo fue por una toma de facto haciendo uso de una chsuma previamente pagada.. Murió un 9 de Enero del 1055 o 1056.
El Obispo Benno de Placenta lo acusa de “muchos adulterios viles, y de asesinatos”. Víctor III lo describe como “autor de violaciones, robos y asesinatos y otros hechos imposibles de describir…su vida como papa fue una vil, tan tonta y tan execrable que me estremezco al sólo pensarlo.”Posiblemente también era homosexual. (UZ, p.20,115,160)
SILVESTRE III: Nacido en Roma. Su verdadero nombre, Juan de Sabina,. Elegido Papa después de la expulsión de Benedicto IX por parte del pueblo de Roma. Fue depuesto rápidamente con financiamiento de Benedicto IX.
Le siguen 10 papas más. Ellos son:
Gregorio VI, nacido en Roma y de nombre Juan Graciano, padrino de Benedicto IX y Papa entre un 5 de Mayo del 1045 y un 20 de Diciembre del 1046; Clemente II, nacido en Sajonia, de nombre Suidger de Lamber y designado papa por el Emperador Heringue III después de haber depuesto a los papas Benedicto IX, Silvestre III y Gregorio VI (cuatro papas vivientes a la vez!!!); Dámaso II, nacido en bavaria y de nombre Poppo de Brixen. Murió envenenado; León IX, nacido en Alsacia. Hizo uso de la violencia para poder conservar la Ortodoxia Cristiana y papa entre Febrero del 1049 al 19 de Abril de 1054. En su “reinado” se hace obligatorio la asistencia a Misa y se divide la Iglesia en Ortodoxa Oriental y Ortodoxa Occidental, de rito Romano Católico; Victor II (1055-1057), nacido en Alemania; Esteban IX ó Esteban X, nacido en Lorrain y Papa entre 1057 y 1058; Benedicto X, no es reconocido por la Iglesia Romana; Nicolás II, nacido en Borgoña (1059-1061) ; Honorio II, un antipapa (1061); Alejandro II, nacido en Milán (1061-1073); Gregorio VIII, de nombre Hildebrand Piericoni, nacido en Rovado, Toscania, posiblemente de origen Judío (de “humilde origen”, según Donald Atwater en su obra The Avenel Dictionary of Saints.) Se convirtió en monje sólo antes de su designación como Papa. Fue guiado por Matilda de Toscania. Habia casado a sacerdotes arrastrados por sus respectivas iglesias y por ende destruyeron sus hogares. En su disputa con el Emperador Enrique IV (quien Capturó a Roma e en 1084) se inclinó a ayudar al normando Robert Guiscard. Tan desastrosa fue la conducta de Guiscard con las tropas de Gregorio VIII que tuvo que huir ante la furia de los ciudadanos Romanos. Murió al año siguiente en Salermo. La Iglesia lo califica de “santo”. En el 1073 insiste que el celibato era necesario para la supremacía teocrática. En el 1077 se le sublevan los sacerdotes casados ,m pues desean volver a su vida normal de antes.(UZ.p.94); Clemente III, un antipapa; Víctor II, nacido de Benevento y Papa entre el 24 de Mayo del 1086 al 16 de Septiembre del 1087, éste fue beatificado por la Iglesia Romana.
URBANO II: Nacido en Francia, Su nombre, Odo de Lagery, beatificado por la Iglesia y Papa entre el 12 de Marzo del 1088 al 29 de Julio del 1099. Se pronunció en contra del matrimonio de las monjas. En el 1099, Pedro el Ermitaño populariza el uso de las cuentas en el “rosario”. Entre el 18 y 28 de Noviembre del 1095 el Concilio de Clemont llama a una cruzada ( persecución ) contra los Judíos, donde fueron asesinados. La misma fue financiada por Works, Mainz, Kôln, Metz en el 1096 y dirigida por Pedro el Hermitaño.!! De unas 500000 almas, sobrevivieron sólo unas 25000!!
PASCUAL II: (1099-1118), nacido en Ravena; Teodorico, un antipapa (1100); Alberto, un antipapa (1102); Silvestre IV, un antipapa (1105); Gelasio II, nacido en gaeta (1119-1119); Gregorio VIII, antipapa, hecho prisionero por Calixto II, nacido en Flagnano (1124-1130); Celestino II, antipapa (1124); Inocente II, nacido en Roma (1130-1143); Anacleto II, antipapa (1130); Víctor IV, antipapa (1138); Celestino II, nacido en Ciudad de Castello (1143-1144); Lucio II, nacido en Bolonia (1144-1145); Eugenio III, nacido en Pisa y beatificado por la Iglesia (1145-1153); Anastasio IV, nacido en Roma (1153-1154); Adriano IV, nacido en Inglaterra (1154-1159); Alejandro III, nacido en Siena, hizo uso de la violencia para conservar la Ortodoxia dentro de la Iglesia ((7 Septiembre del 1159 al 30 Agosto del 1181), Durante su reina do se llevó a cabo la guerra dentro de la Catedral de San Pedro y por ello se llenó de cadáveres; Pascual III, antipapa (1168); Inocente III (el primero de ellos) , antipapa (1179); Lucio III, nacido en Lucca (1181-1185), durante su reinado se efectuó el Concilio de Verona donde se hace “oficial” la Inquisición (GC); Urbano III, nacido en Milán (1185-1187); Gregorio VIII, nacido en Benevento (1187-1187); Clemente III, nacido en Roma (1187-1191), durante su reinado se da inicio a la venta de las “indulgencias” y Celestino III , nacido en Roma (1191-1198). ¡!Veintiseis papas en total, sin gloria alguna para nombrar¡¡
INOCENTE III: (El según do de ellos). Su nombre, Lotario Di Segni (1198-1216). Dejó su “marca” como el más grande asesino de la historia humana. Se consideraba a sí mismo ”regente del mundo”. En una de sus primeras “epístolas” se rfiere a una “nueva cruzada”, misma que causó el saqueo y destrucción de las ciudades cristianas de Zara, Hungría, y Constantinopla, Turquía. Procuró la conquista de Livonie en el 1199. Destrona al Rey Juan de Inglaterra e inaugura el Cuarto Concilio Luterano en 1215 y decreta la más infame legislación contra los Judíos, forzándolos a vivir en ghettos. Quizás una de las más escandalosas de sus acciones fue su ambición de aniquilar, totalmente, a los “herejes” Albinenses. La destrucción de ésta “herejía” costó más de un millón de almas. Se establece por él la aprobación de la ”transubstansación” en el 1215.
BENEDIXTO XII: No es reconocido por la Iglesia como Papa (1203-1294);
HONORIO III: Nace en Roma (1216-1227). Con él se da inicio a la administración de la “hostia” (GC).
GREGORIO IX: nace en Agnani (1227-1241).Durante su reinado, en el 1229,el Concilio de valencia ubica la Biblia en el “Índice de los Libros Prohibidos” y en el 1231 se da inicio de la Inquisición Medieval contra herejes y apostatas.
CELESTINO IV: nacido en Milán (1241-1241)
INOCENTE IV: Nacido en Génova (25 de Junio del 1243 al 7 de Diciembre del 1254, pone en práctica el uso legal de la tortura para poder conservar la Ortodoxia.
ALEJANDRO IV: Nacido en Agnani (1254-1261).
URBANO IV: Nacido en Troyes (1261-1264).
CLEMENTE IV: Nacido en Francia y casado antes de ser ordenado (5 FRebrero del 1265 al 29 Noviembre de 1268). Tuvo dos hijas.
GREGORIO X: Nacido en Piacenza (1271-1275), beatificado por la Iglesia. El Annuario Pontificio nos dice que reinó hasta el 1276.
INOCENTE V: Nacido en Saboya, beatificado por la Iglesia (1276-1276).
ADRIANO V: Nacido en Génova (1276-1276).
JUAN XXI: (Se aclara aquí que no hubo Papa Juan XX ). Nace en Portugal (1276-1277).
NICOLAS III: Nacido en Roma (1277-1280).
MARTÍN IV: Nacido en Francia (1281-1285).
Ésta numeración anterior la causa un “San Martín I” y dos “Marinos”.
HONORIO IV: Nacido en Ascoli (1288-1292).
CELESTINO V: Pedro de Morrone, un simple viejo ignorante y ermitaño de 80 años. Muere un 19 de mayo de 1296 a manos de Bonifacio VIII.
BONIFACIO VIII: -Nacido en Agnani (24 Diciembre del 1294 al 11 de octubre del 1303). Excepcionalmente arrogante, cruel e insolente con todos los seres humanos. Hizo uso de la violencia para mantener la Ortodoxia dentro de la Iglesia. Se dedicó, especialmente, a acabar con la familia Colonna.
BENEDIXTO XI: Nacido en Treviso (1303-1304). Beatificado por la Iglesia.
CLEMENTE V: Nacido en Francia (1305-1314).
JUAN XXII: Nacido en Cahors (7 de Agosto del 1316 al 4 de Diciembre del 1334).
NICOLÁS: Antipapa . Abandonó su esposa para hacerse monje (12 Mayo 1328-25 Julio 1330), murió un 16 de Octubre del 1333.
BENEDIXTO XII: Nacido en Francia. Su nombre, Jacques Fournier, Obispo-Cardenal de San Prisicano y activo inquisidor (20 de Diciembre 1334 al 25 de Abril de 1342).
CLEMENTE VI: Nacido en Francia en 1291.ñ Su nombree, Pierre Roger e hijo de Guillaume de Rosier. Personalmente devoto pero involucrado en una vida de lujos, voluptuosidades e indolencias. Nepotista y extravagante. Compró el Palacio Nuevo de Avignon y defendió a los Judíos cuando fueron acusados de ser los creadores de la plaga (1348-1349)(UZ.p.22,110).
INOCENTE VI: Nacido en Francia (18 Dic. de 1352 al 6 Sept de 1362). Hizo uso de la violencia para conservar la Ortodoxia.
URBANO V: Nacido en Francia (1370-1378), Surge en su reinado el Gran Sisma por la rivalidad existente entre los papas de Avignon y Roma (1370-1378), mismo que duró hasta el 1470
URBANO VI: Nacido en Nápoles ( 8 de Abril 1378 al 15 Octubre 1389). También hizo uso de la violencia para mantener la Ortodoxia, y dado su mal genio y paranoia, amenazando constantemente la Curia, lo juzgaron y consideraron “incapaz” para el cargo. Descubrió él el complot e hizo “castrar” a seis Cardenales hallados culpables (dicen que él mismo los castro con sus propios dientes). Murió envenenado.
CLEMENTE VII: Antipapa y residente en Avignon (1378-1394).
BONIFACIO XI: Nacido en Nápoles (2 Nov. 1398 al 1 Oct.1404). Un degenerado, irreverente y malicioso diplomático. Comerciaba con los “Sacros Oficios” y fue tan lejos que permitió licencias para pecar, garantizando que el pecado cometido estaba ya perdonado. (UZ.p.50)
BENEDIXTO XIII: Antipapa de Avignon. (1394-1424).
INOCENTE VII: Nacido en Sulmona.
GREGORIO XII: Nacido en Venecia (30 Nov. 1406 al 4 Jul.1415).
ALEJANDRO V: Declarado más tarde antipapa y de nombre Pietro Philarghi de Candia. Franciscano y elegido papa para solucionar el sisma creador por Gregorio XII y Benedicto XIII. Murió posible y sorpresivamente envenenado (¿) por Baldassare Cossa.
JUAN XXIII: Papa entre el 17 de Mayo de 1410 al 29 de mayo de 1415. Acusado de Simonía, perjurio y de la más vulgar y grotesca conducta. Se dice que copuló con unas 200 mujeres y entre ellas algunas monjas. Cometió incesto con la esposa de su hermano. Murió un 22 de Noviembre de 1419.
MARTÍN V: Nacido en Roma y último papa del sisma. Familiar de los Colonna. Hizo quemar vivo a Juan Hus de Bohemnia n(1369-1415). Papa entre el 11 de noviembre de 1417 y el 20 de Febrero de 1431.
BENEDIXTO XIV: Antipapa de Avignon.(1423) y de nombre Prospero Lambertini, Nacido en Bolonia y gran intelectual.
CLEMENTE VIII: Otro antipapa de Avignon (1423-1424). De nombre Giulio De Medici y nacido el 26 de Mayo 1478.
EUGENIO IV: Nacido en Venecia en 1388 y de nombre Gabriello Condulmaro (1431-1447). En el 1439 se reúne el Concilio de Florencia donde se da como dogma la aceptación del “purgatorio” y se instituyen los “Siete Sacramentos”, bajo pena de pecado mortal.
FELIX V: Antipapa. De nombre Amadeus de Saboya y Papa en 1439. Se le consideró un antipapa.
NICOLÁS V: Nacido en Sarzana un 15 de Noviembre de 1397. Su nombre Tomaso Parentucelli. Hijo de un médico de profesión. Papa entre el 6 de marzo del 1447 al 24 de marzo del 1455.
CALIXTO III: Nace en Canals un 31 de Diciembre de 1378. Estudio leyes y fue profesor de derecho en la universidad de Lérida. Obispo de valencia y de nombre Alfonso de Borja y tío de Alejandro Vl. Rotuló el matrimonio entre Judíos y Cristianos.
PIO II: Su nombre, Aeneas Silvio Piccoliminni.Papa entre el 19 de Sgosyo y el 16 de Agosto de 1464. Nacido un 18 de Octubre de 1405 en Consignano, cerca de Siena y que él mismo renombró Pienza. Un libertino antes de llegar al pontificado. Se defendía así mismo al reconocer que el clero de la Iglesia antigua eran casados.
PABLO II: Nacido en Venecia y de nombre Pietro Barbo y sobrino del Papa Eugenio IV. Vanal y parcializado. Impuso grandes impuestos a los no Cristianos (léase Judíos). En el 1470 termina el Gran Sisma.
SIXTO IV: Nacido en Albisola, Savona el día 21 de Julio de 1414, nacido como Francesco Della Rovere, tio del Papa Julio II , de la O.F.M y homosexual. Papa entre el 19 de Agosto del 1484 al 25 de Julio del 1492. Tuvo relaciones con dos de sus jóvenes sobrinos, Pietro Riario y Giuliano Della Rovere. Ëste último, más tarde, fue el Papa Julio II. En el 1479 él y Fernando de Aragón impusieron la Inquisición en contra de los Judíos y Mahometanos. El Fraile Tomás de Torquemada (1479-1496) fue designado como el primer Inquisidor General de tal persecución.
INOCENTE VIII: Nacido en Génova como Giovanni Battista Cibo. Papa entre el 29 de Agosto del 1484 al 25 de Julio del 1492. Fue el primer papa que entró al Vaticano acompañado por uno de sus dos hijos ilegítimos, Franceschetto, famoso en Roma por su amor al juego y al robo. Inocente VIII pomposamente celebró los matrimonios de sus dos hijos ilegítimos, Franceschetto y Teodorina, en el vaticano. Se le conoce por su infame Bula papal, la Bula bruja de 1484. Varios cientos de miles de mujeres, niños y hombres (un 20%) fueron torturados, colgados o quemados en la hoguera.. Y fuera de lo anterior su hijo Franceschetto estableció, con los ingresos papales, un harem de unas 6800 cortesanas para agradar al Príncipe Jem (el hermano más joven del Sultán, y quien había sido exilado por sus excesos sexuales. Por esa razón el disgustado Sultán envió un renegado cristiano a envenenar el pozo de agua del Vaticano. Éste fue descubierto, y hecho prisionero por Inocente VIII quien , a su vez, le hizo arrancar el escroto y el pene, y su carne arrancada con una pinza al rojo vivo en el nombre de “la misericordia de Jesús Cristo”. ALEJANDRO VI: Nacido en Jativa un 1 de Enero del 1431, cerca de Valencia, España. Papa entre el 11 de Agosto del 1492 al 18 de Agosto0 del 1503. Su nombre Rodrigo de Borja. Fue el Cardenal más rico de su tiempo. En 14744 fue elevado a tal cargo por su tío Calixto III. Se interesó más en las mujeres jóvenes que en las matronas. Llevó a la cama a la casi niña Vanozza De Cattanel en quien tuvo a César, Juan, Joffre y Lucrecia Borgia. Todos ellos nacidos entre entre 1474 y 1482. De otras cortesanas (prostitutas oficiales) tuvo a Girolama, Pietro-Luigi y Giovanni. A la muerte de Inocente III consolidó sus intensiones de obtener el papado aliándose con los Farnese de quien tomó su amante a la joven de 15 años Giulia Farnese en quien tuvo una hija, Laura. Astuto, taimado y con una incontrolable pasión por las mujeres y el oro.
Al ser un eromaníaco llevó una vida licenciosa e inmoral de manera abierta. Durante una de sus orgías, el 30 de Octubre de 1501, tuvo para sí 50 prostitutas con quienes cenó, todas ellas desnudas, quienes le satisficieron de manera muy liberal.. Preparó un complot para matar al Cardenal guerrero Giuliano Della Rovere pero fracasó en su intento y murió. Se intuye que fue envenenado a manos de algún Cardenal.
PIO III: Nacido en Siena y de nombre Franceso Todescheni. Fue incapaz de deponer a
Giuliano Della Rovere. Papa entre el 22 de septiembre del 1503 al 10 de Octubre del 1593.
JULIO II: Nacido en Albissola, cerca de Savona, en una gran pobreza De nombre Giuliano Della Rovere. El 5 de Diciembre de 1503 cumple 50 años. Ambicioso, compró abiertamemnte los votos para ganar su elección. . Fue conocido como el “papa guerrero” y demostró poco interés en los asuntos religiosos. Posiblemente homosexual. Fue descrito por Erasmo, en su obra Elogio a la Tontería, como un papa dominado por la política y la guerra, la prostitución, el juego y la estafa. En el 1506 se da inicio a la construcción de la basílica de San Pedro y en el 1509 Miguel Ángel Buonarroti pinta la Capilla Sextina.

Celibacy's Roots and Fruits


One must understand that mandatory celibacy is not taught in the Bible, nor was it practiced by the apostles. This teaching developed as an integral part of the evolving papal system and gradually became essential to it. The concern was not morality, for celibacy proved to be a veritable cornucopia of evil. In fact, the rule of celibacy was not the prohibition of sex but of marriage. Pope Alexander 11 (1061-73), for example, refused to discipline a priest who had committed adultery with his father's second wife because he hadn't committed the sin of matrimony. That was the great evil which had to be eliminated for the priesthood to be totally devoted to the Church.
All down through history not only priests and prelates but popes as well had their mistresses and visited prostitutes. Many were homosexuals. No member of the clergy was ever excommunicated for having sex, but thousands have been put out of the priesthood for the scandal of getting married. Why then the strict insistence upon celibacy, even to the present day, if it really doesn't mean abstinence from sex? It is because the rule of celibacy has a very practical and lucrative result for the Church: It leaves priests and especially bishops and popes without families to whom to bequeath property and thereby impoverish the Church. The clergy must have no heirs.
Pope Gregory VII, bemoaning the difficulty in stamping out marriage among priests, declared: "The Church cannot escape from the clutches of the laity unless priests first escape from the clutches of their wives." Here is another vital reason for celibacy: to create a priesthood without the encumbrance (and loving loyalties) of wives and children. Thus fornication and adultery, though forbidden in theory, were preferable to a marriage relationship. Nineteenth-century historian R.W. Thompson explains:
It was considered absolutely necessary to the perfect working of the papal system that there should be organized a compact body of ecclesiastics, destitute of all those generous sympathies which grow alone out of the family relation, that they might be the better fitted to do the work of the popes....4
Though married men in those early days were allowed to enter the priesthood, they were required to live celibate lives. Pope Leo I (440-61) decreed that married clergy were to treat their wives "as sisters." Few if any Catholics realize that as late as the reign of Pope Gregory VII (1073-85) it was accepted for priests to be married and supposedly live in celibacy with their wives.
Such a requirement was both unnatural and unrealistic. Who could keep such a rule? All over Italy the clerics openly had large families and no discipline was enacted against them. After all,
many of the popes had large families as well and sometimes made no secret of it. De Rosa comments:
This theological confusion in an age of depravity led the clergy, in fifth-century Rome in particular, to become a byword for everything that was gross and perverted.... When Pope Sixtus 111(432-40) was put on trial for seducing a nun, he ably defended himself by quoting Christ's words, "Let him who is without fault among you throw the first stone."
... roving monks were proving to be a social menace ... there were long periods when many monasteries were nothing but houses of ill repute.... The second Council of Tours in the year 567 ... publicly admitted there was hardly a cleric anywhere without his wife or mistress.... 5
A System Made for Prostitution
For centuries the priesthood was largely hereditary. Most priests were the sons of other priests and bishops. More than one pope was the illegitimate son of a previous and supposedly celibate pope. For example, Pope Sylverius (536-7) was fathered by Pope Hormisdas (514-23), and John XI (931-5) by Sergius III (904-11) of his favorite mistress, Marozia, to whom we referred earlier.
Among the other bastards who ruled the Church were Popes Boniface 1(418-22), Gelasius (492-6), Agapitus (535-6), and Theodore (642-9). There were more. Adrian IV (1154-9) was the son of a priest. No wonder Pope Pius 11 (1458-64) said Rome was "the only city run by bastards." Pius himself admitted to fathering at least two illegitimate children, by different women, one of them married at the time. The rule of celibacy literally created prostitutes, making Rome the "Mother of Harlots," as the apostle John foresaw.
In his fiery sermons, Savonarola of Florence, Italy (soon to be martyred), called Rome "a harlot ready to sell her favors for coin"6 and accused the priests of bringing "spiritual death upon all ... their piety consists in spending their nights with harlots." He cried, "One thousand, ten thousand, fourteen thousand harlots are few for Rome, for there both men and women are made harlots."7
Pope Alexander VI threatened to "lay an interdict upon Florence" if it did not silence Savonarola. The city rulers obeyed for fear that as a result of the interdict all "the Florentine merchants in Rome would be thrown into jail."8 The pope wanted Savonarola brought to Rome for trial as a heretic, but the Signory of Florence wanted to execute him themselves. After signing confessions that had been wrung out of them by the cruelest of torture, Savonarola and two comrade friars were hanged and burned to ashes.9 Yet this man who preached against the Church leaders' immorality and was slain by Roman Catholics is now celebrated by the Vatican as "a giant of our faith, martyred May 23, 1498."10 What revision of history!
Visiting Germany in the eighth century, St. Boniface found that none of the clergy honored their vows of celibacy. He wrote to Pope Zachary (741-52): "Young men who spent their youth in rape and adultery were rising in the ranks of the clergy. They were spending their nights in bed with four or five women, then getting up in the morning ... to celebrate mass." Bishop Rathurio complained that if he excommunicated unchaste priests "there would be none left to administer the sacraments, except boys. If he excluded bastards, as canon law demanded, not even boys [would be left]."11
Even idealists became unprincipled rogues because the priesthood was one of the surest and fastest ways to wealth and power and afforded unique opportunities for the most profligate
pleasure. Today's pope, John Paul II, in his recent encyclical, Veritatis Splendor (Splendor of Truth), soundly condemns promiscuity. One might respect such a treatise if he would admit that his predecessors in the papacy have been some of the worst offenders; that the clergy, because they can't marry, have been more prone to illicit relationships than the laity; and that promiscuity is still widespread among the Roman Catholic clergy. Otherwise Splendor of Truth has a hollow sound.

The Vatican, the Nazis
And the Jews


Hitler's intention to exterminate the Jews was known by the Vatican before it signed the concordat, yet the Holocaust never became a factor in the Church's subsequent dealings with the Fuehrer. On April 1, 1933, about four months before the Vatican would sign its concordat with him, Hitler began his systematic program with a boycott against the Jews. He justified it with these words: "I believe that I act today in unison with the Almighty Creator's intention. By fighting the Jews I do battle for the Lord." When the Italian ambassador, speaking for Mussolini, asked Hitler to reconsider his harsh attitude toward the Jews, Hitler "predicted `with absolute certainty' that in five or six hundred years the name of Hitler would be honored in all lands `as the man who once and for all exterminated the Jewish pest from the world."
Hitler had the backing of many German psychiatrists who would later declare that Himmler, Hoess, and the other Nazi mass murderers were quite "normal." As for the German psychiatrists' feelings about the Jews, Carl Jung expressed the view of many when, as president of the New German Society of Psychotherapy, he wrote:
The Arian unconscious has a higher potential than the Jewish.... Freud [a Jew] ... knew the German soul as little as his idolators knew it. Did they learn something from the powerful appearance of National Socialism upon which the world looks with amazed eyes ...?
SS Lieutenant Colonel Adolph Eichmann's role as director of the extermination of Jews from all over Nazi-occupied Europe was just a job and had nothing to do with God or religion. Unlike Catholics, he had no quarrel with Jews. Even Simon Wiesenthal, who devoted his life to tracking down Nazi war criminals, said that Eichmann had "no motive, no hatred [against Jews in particular].... He would have done the same job if he had been ordered to kill all men whose name began with P or B, or all who had red hair."
For Hitler, however, the Holocaust was a highly spiritual undertaking. In line with his conviction that he was doing God's will in exterminating the Jews, Hitler ordered that the Final Solution be executed "as humanely as possible." In spite of his persecution of the Church whenever he perceived that it stood in his way, Hitler insisted to the very end, "I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so." He was convinced that the plan he had conceived as a good Catholic would complete the massacre of "those Christ killers" which the Catholic Church had begun during the Middle Ages but had executed so poorly. John Toland explains:
The extermination, therefore, could be done without a twinge of conscience since he was merely acting as the avenging hand of God-so long as it was done impersonally, without cruelty. Himmler was pleased to murder with mercy. He ordered technical experts to
devise gas chambers which would eliminate masses of Jews efficiently and "humanely," then crowded the victims into boxcars and sent them east to stay in ghettos until the killing centers in Poland were completed.
Church Support of Nazi Anti-Semitism
Hermann Goering and Franz von Papen on their mission to work out a concordat were well-received at the Vatican. Rome's friendly attitude toward the Nazi regime was made clear. Had no one read Mein Kampf? Of course they had, but Rome and Berlin had much in common, including persecution and killing of Jews. There was no lack of Catholic leaders who openly supported the purge of Jews. During the years 1933-39, the writings of leading Catholics, "all published in journals edited by priests or in books bearing the Imprimatur" presented ideas such as the following:
The Jews had a "demoralizing influence on religiosity and national character." [They] had brought the German people "more damage than benefit." The Jews had displayed "a mortal hatred for Jesus, while the Aryan Pontius Pilate would gladly have let him go free." ... The Jews. .. "in their boundless hatred of Christianity were still in the forefront of those seeking to destroy the Church."7
Curate Roth, who became an official in the Nazi Ministry of Ecclesiastical Affairs, called the Jews "a morally inferior race who would have to be eliminated from public life." Dr. Haeuser, in a book with the Imprimatur of the diocese of Regensburg, called the Jews "Germany's cross, a people disowned by God and under their own curse [who] carried much of the blame for Germany having lost the [First World] War...." Father Senn called Hitler "the tool of God, called upon to overcome Judaism." Nazism, he said, provided "the last big opportunity to throw off the Jewish Yoke."8
The Church cooperated fully with the Nazis "in sorting out people of Jewish descent...." A priest wrote in the Klerusblatt, "We shall do our best to help in this service to the people." The Church continued this diabolical "cooperation" all through the war, even when being Jewish meant "deportation and outright physical destruction." The Church was well aware of the Jews' dread fate. In a speech on January 30, 1939, only months before his attack upon Poland began the war, Hitler had declared that if war broke out it would result in "the extermination of the Jewish race."
Hitler's totalitarianism was approved by the Church so long as it could be his partner. Guenter Lewy's extensive sifting through the relevant documents of the entire Nazi period indicates that "the Holy See was no more opposed to the central political doctrines of Nazism than the German bishops themselves." Cardinal Faulhaber "went out of his way to make clear that he was not concerned with defending his Jewish contemporaries." One had to distinguish, he said, between the Jews before the crucifixion of Christ and afterward. In 1939, Archbishop Grober declared that -
Jesus Christ. .. had been fundamentally different from the Jews of his time-so much so that they had hated him and demanded his crucifixion, and "their murderous hatred has continued in later centuries."
Jesus had been a Jew, admitted Bishop Hilfrich of Limburg... in 1939, but "the Christian religion has ... had to make its way against this people."
Theologian Karl Adam defended the preservation of the German people's pure blood as a justified act of selfdefense, for. .. "the myth of the German, his culture and his history are decisively shaped by blood."
An article on the revolution of 1918 in the paper of the Bavarian priests exposed the role of the Jews in this stab in the back of the undefeated German army [and on and on it went in similar vein].
Cardinal Bertram, head of the East German church province, and Archbishop Grober, head of the Upper Rhenish province, along with other bishops, expressed concern for the dismissals of Catholic civil servants by the new government. At the same time, however, the bishops rejected reports of brutality in the new concentration camps. Grober even became a "promoting member" of the SS and kept up his financial contributions to the bitter end.
What the Vatican and German Bishops Knew
Nazism was opposed by Catholic leaders only where it conflicted with "Church matters and interests." Thus while remaining silent regarding the Holocaust as a whole, the Church spoke up for and attempted to protect Jewish converts to Catholicism. That fact makes its failure to oppose the Nazi extermination of Jews all the more reprehensible. "There were 30 million Catholics in Germany. Although Jews were helped secretly [by some Catholic individuals], the Church never publicly recognized that the defense of the Jews was a Christian duty." The Vatican sternly banned other books, but it never put Mein Kampf or the poisonous anti-Semitic works of numerous Church leaders on its Index of forbidden reading. Joseph Muller, a military intelligence officer and confidant of Cardinal Faulhaber, "kept the episcopate well informed about the systematic atrocities committed in Poland." So did Hans Globke, a Catholic high official in the Ministry of the Interior "entrusted with handling racial matters." The Vatican and the German bishops, along with most of the German population, knew full well that Jews were being rounded up and exterminated. Viereck reminds us:
Hitler's extermination-expert, R[udolf] Hoess, wrote in Commandant ofAuschwitz: "When a strong wind was blowing, the stench of burning flesh was carried for many miles and caused the whole neighborhood to talk about the burning of the Jews." He notes, of still another camp, that whenever a bus with victims drove past, even the German children chortled in the street: "There comes the murder box again!" The Church well knew what was happening but closed its eyes as well as its lips. Kurt Gerstein, a covert member of the evangelical opposition to Hitler, became an SS officer in order to discover the secret of the extermination camps and tell it to the world. He brought his report to the pope's personal representative in Berlin, who refused to see him when he explained his errand.
"There were tens of thousands of priests in cities, towns, and villages throughout Europe. They saw houses emptied, villagers deported; they heard confessions. They were unusually well informed." Catholic soldiers returned periodically from the Russian front with tales of the wholesale massacres. "The Vatican was among the first to know of the genocidal programs.
Authoritative information on the killing was sent to the Vatican by its own diplomats in March 1942." Hitler flaunted his evil intentions and deeds to the world. The Vatican had no excuse for its Nazi partnership or for its continued commendation of Hitler on the one hand and its thunderous silence regarding the Jewish question on the other hand. As the evil mounted, the Roman Catholic Church continued to work with the Fuehrer and even to praise him. Even after Hitler's troops, in spite of promises to the contrary, marched in and took over the demilitarized Rhineland, Catholic leaders all over Germany lauded him, among them Cardinal Schulte in Cologne's cathedral.
The concordat with Hitler was nothing new. The popes had been partners with evil rulers for centuries. Would Jesus make a deal with Pilate or the apostle Peter with Nero? Yet those who claimed to be Peter's successors had been in unholy alliances with pagan emperors from Constantine onward, and continued in the alliance with Hitler until the end of the war, reaping hundreds of millions of dollars in payments from the Nazi government to the Vatican.
The Moral Failure of Silence
Pius XII was known for his outspoken warnings to the faithful against the "abuse of human rights," yet he was silent about the Holocaust. He never spoke a public word against Hitler's systematic extermination of the Jews, because to do so would have condemned his own Church for its similar deeds. This silence, historians agree, encouraged Hitler and added to the unspeakable genocide.
The pope boasted that he was the moral watchdog for the world, yet said nothing in the face of the worst crime in human history. In his first encyclical, issued in October 1939, Pius XII declared that his office as Christ's vicar demanded that he "testify to the truth with Apostolic firmness." He went on to explain:
This duty necessarily entails the exposition and confutation of errors and human faults; for these must be made known before it is possible to tend and to heal them....
In the fulfillment of this our duty we shall not let ourselves be influenced by earthly considerations nor be held back by mistrust or opposition, by rebuffs or lack of appreciation of our words, nor yet by the fear of misconceptions and misinterpretations.
These were high-sounding words, but proved to be absolutely empty. The very day Pius XII commenced his pontificate, Mussolini expelled Italy's 69,000 Jews and the pope said nothing. A few weeks later Italy invaded Albania. The pope protested, but "not because a country had been wantonly attacked, but because the aggression had been carried out on a Good Friday. This was Christ's "vicar"?
Like their pope, the German bishops repeatedly promised "fearlessly to condemn injustice." In 1936 Cardinal Faulhaber declared that a bishop could not be God's servant "if he were to speak to please men or remain silent out of fear of men." In July 1941, Bishop Galen claimed to be the defender of every man's God-given "basic rights and liberties" and that his duty was to "courageously ... brand as an injustice crying to heaven the condemnation of defenseless innocents." Similar empty rhetoric was thundered from pulpits by other bishops, all of whom remained silent while 6 million Jews were systematically exterminated like so much vermin. The continued hypocrisy more than proves this is not the true Church.
Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, now in his third five-year term as head of the modern equivalent of the Holy Inquisition, served in the military in Germany during the war, though he saw no combat. By his own admission he was aware of the Holocaust. No German could have been totally ignorant. "The abyss of Hitlerism could not be overlooked," Ratzinger now confesses.22 Yet he overlooked it when it would have cost him something to speak out against it.
Surely now, as the watchdog of orthodoxy and the longest serving and most powerful official in the Vatican next to the pope, Ratzinger could make amends both for his own silence and that of his Church all during the Holocaust. Why not offer genuine repentance and sorrowful apology to the Jews? But Ratzinger and John Paul II continue Pius XII's stony silence. And how could they apologize without admitting that their popes and Church have sinned grievously against Christ's natural brethren, and thus that the very claim to infallibility and being the one true Church is a fraud? What About Mary?

We have identified the woman astride the beast as Vatican City and the false World Church which will eventually be headquartered there. But why a woman on the beast and not a man? Why is this false World Church seen as a woman? Again this criterion, like all of the others in Revelation 17, fits the Vatican perfectly. The most prominent figure by far in Roman Catholicism is a woman. She overshadows all else, including even God Himself. More prayers are offered to the Catholic Mary and more attention and honor is given to her than to Christ and God combined. There are thousands of shrines to Mary around the world (and hundreds of shrines to other "saints"), but scarcely more than a handful of minor shrines to Christ himself.
Some Catholic leaders even boast that in this day of burgeoning "goddess consciousness" and "women's liberation" the Catholic Church is right in tune with the times: A woman holds the position of highest honor and power. In Catholicism it is a woman through whom all graces, gifts, blessings, and power flow-a woman, who, as we shall see, has the amazing potential to unite the entire world, including even the Muslims, in one religion. This "perpetual Virgin," however, is a fiction that bears no relationship to the real Mary of the Bible, a woman who was not only Christ's mother but also Joseph's loving wife.

Mary "Ever Virgin"?
The Bible teaches that Mary was a virgin until the time that Jesus was born. Subsequently she had a number of other children by Joseph, her husband. This fact is clearly expressed by the statement that Jesus was her "firstborn son" and that Joseph "knew her not until" Christ was born (Matthew 1:25). There are repeated references to Jesus' brothers and sisters, some of whom are even mentioned by name. The people who knew Jesus where He grew up in Nazareth "were astonished and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom and these mighty
works?" They went on to argue:
Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brethren James and Joses and Simon and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? (Matthew 13:55,56; cf. Mark 6:3).
Catholic apologists such as Karl Keating insist that these brothers and sisters were really Christ's cousins and that Matthew and Mark had to use the word for brother/sister because neither Hebrew nor Aramaic had a word for "cousin." There is no basis for such an unbiblical supposition. Furthermore, Matthew and Mark were written in Greek. Keating insists that although there was a word for cousins (anepsios) in the Greek, it was common for Jews writing in Greek to continue the Hebrew practice of referring to all relatives as brothers/sisters (adelphos). He cites examples from the Septuagint, but none from the New Testament, because there are none. In fact, anepsios is used in Colossians 4:10 to refer to the cousin of Barnabas. Moreover, the brethren of Jesus are usually mentioned as being in the company of Mary, indicating that they were her children in her care or, if grown, traveling with her as part of the immediate family.
The Catholic argument goes on to insist that for Christ to be born of a womb that would later conceive and give birth to other children would somehow contaminate Him. That argument, again, is not only without biblical basis but takes away from Christ's very humility in becoming a man. Peter de Rosa, as a Catholic, gives some interesting insights into why Rome can't allow Mary to have sexual intercourse even after giving birth to Christ:
[W]e noted that priests, especially popes, have developed a cult of the Virgin Mary. For celibates, the ideal woman is an asexual being who gave birth to a child. Mary had a baby without sexual intercourse; that is perfection.
If Mary had taken a vow of virginity, however, and that was what she meant by her response to Gabriel, then (as Martin Luther pointed out) by allowing Joseph to marry her she would have committed treachery and poured contempt upon the holy covenant of marriage. Even the Catholic Church doesn't allow a wife to take a vow of continence at her own pleasure, and the Bible is against it, declaring that the marriage bed is God's will for married couples (Genesis 1:28; 2:21-24; 1 Corinthians 7:3-5) and that it is honorable in all (Hebrews 13:4).
Clearly Mary's words to Gabriel "How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?" (Luke 1:34) refer only to her condition at that time. This was not a declaration that she had taken a vow of celibacy. If she had, she would not have been engaged to Joseph (verse 27). And if her perpetual virginity isn't true, neither are the other fantasies about Mary which Catholicism has invented (her immaculate conception, bodily assumption to heaven, etc.).




Mary, "Mother of God"?
The most authoritative book written on Catholicism's "Virgin Mary" is by Cardinal and Saint Alphonsus de Liguori. Titled The Glories of Mary, it is a virtual compendium of what the great "saints" of the Roman Catholic Church have had to say about Mary down through the centuries. The chapter headings are staggering, crediting Mary with attributes, abilities, titles, and functions that belong to Christ alone: "Mary, Our Life, Our Sweetness"; "Mary, Our Hope"; "Mary, Our Help"; "Mary, Our Advocate"; "Mary, Our Guardian"; "Mary, Our Salvation." Here is a sampling of Liguori's quotes of what the saints have said concerning Mary's role in salvation:
Sinners receive pardon by ... Mary alone. He falls and is lost who has not recourse to Mary. Mary is called ...the gate of Heaven because no one can enter that blessed kingdom without passing through her. The way of salvation is open to none otherwise than through Mary ... the salvation of all depends on their being favored and protected by Mary. He who is protected by Mary will be saved; he who is not will be lost ... our salvation depends on thee.... God will not save us without the intercession of Mary.... who would receive any grace were it not for thee, 0h Mother of God ... ?

One of the principles we can learn of the Holy Scriptures is that our Creator, unlike the pagan deities, does not lives in wood or stone. This mean that as Creator does not dwell in the created and less in a human being. Remember 1 Kings 8:27

Some ,not to say all, churches and their ministers teach an amount of truths but, a little truth mixed with errors -damnable errors- still spells disasters.

In numerous prophecies of the Old Testament Eternal warns us that we have left the conviction (faith) of our fathers. He exhorts us return to Him, to His word, through the books of the His prophets.

In the END TIME, Eternal will lays a foundation in Jerusalem that shall smite the lies of Baalism and that foundation shall nullify the agreement Israel has made with death and grave. That “foundation” shall be the true faith or conviction in our fathers: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob

The gentiles and pagans must adquire their salvation through the restored twelve Tribes of Israel, directly from the Creator of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

We should understand that the Saviour of Israel -the same Saviour of all the human kind- the ONE who forgives their sins, will not “lose” the 10 Tribes of Israel! They are not gone! They are alive in these instants! Eternal knows where they are and He is going to restore them as His word says…….in the LAST DAYS!

Reflexiones sobre Janucá

El Shabat de Janucá se observó entre los sefardíes del Imperio Otomano como “Shabat Halbashah”, Shabat de proporcionar la ropa para los necesitados. Tradicionalmente, el rabino daria un sermón aquel día resaltando la Mitzvá de la caridad y la misericordia. A partir del día siguiente, los miembros de la comunidad llevaban ropa a la sinagoga, que luego se distribuiría entre los pobres en Rosh Jodesh Tebet, el sexto día de Janucá.
Un motivo para esta costumbre es que Janucá pasa justo cuando se acerca el invierno (en el hemisferio norte). Es importante que la comunidad proporcione ropa adecuada para los miembros no las tienen para poder pasar la temporada fría. Por otra parte, el Janucá conmemora la unidad que prevaleció entre los Judíos de la antigüedad que lucharon contra los opresores sirio-griegos, y que re-dedicó el templo de Jerusalén. Así como nuestros antepasados reconocieron su responsabilidad el uno al otro y a D-s, por eso cada Judio de cada generación debe reconoce nuestro compromiso con los demás y con D-s.
Un proverbio judeo-español dice: “El harto no cree al hambriento”. Cuando uno vive en relativa prosperidad, no siempre es fácil sentir empatía por aquellos que carecen de necesidades básicas. La gente se vuelve fría. Dicen:
He trabajado por lo que tengo, dejemos a los demás trabajar por lo que falta. ¿Por qué debería dar mi dinero duramente ganado para ayudar a otros? El que piensa así no puede sentir la verdadera sensación de hambre de los pobres, y no podría responder rápidamente o con compasión suficiente.
En su relato, “Grosellas”, Anton Chekhov dice: “Debería haber, detrás de la puerta de cada hombre feliz y contento, alguien con un martillo que le recordara continuamente, como un grifo, que hay gente infeliz, que sin embargo es feliz; la vida le mostrará sus vueltas, que, tarde o temprano, los problemas vendrán sobre él, la enfermedad, la pobreza, las pérdidas, y nadie va a ver o escuchar, al igual que ahora no ve ni oye a otros; pero no existe ningún hombre con un martillo. ....”
El Shabat Halbashah sirve como un “martillo”, como recordatorio de que todos somos responsables unos de otros, que tenemos que cuidar de los demás del mismo modo que ellos tendrán que proveer para nosotros si pasamos algún peligro.
La lección sin duda se aplica a proporcionar apoyo material a los necesitados. Pero creo que también se puede extender en lo espiritual, intelectual, vida cultural y colectiva. La comunidad judía patrocina una serie de instituciones dedicadas a fomentar el estilo de vida judía - sinagogas, escuelas, organizaciones culturales, centros comunales, etc. Estas instituciones tratan de cuidar de nuestra vida espiritual, y de dar servicios para todos nosotros. Así como debemos ser sensibles a las necesidades físicas de los pobres, tenemos que ser sensibles a las necesidades espirituales de toda nuestra comunidad. Es tan fácil decir: deja que otros den apoyo a estas instituciones, que los demás paguen por estos servicios, deja que otros asuman la responsabilidad de dar vida a la comunidad judía.
El Shabat Halbashah sirve como un “martillo”, golpeando suavemente la pared, nos recuerda que debemos ser mas empáticos, participar más, en compartir mas con la comunidad. Hay tantos desafíos que enfrenta nuestra comunidad judía: cada uno de nosotros tenemos que desempeñar un papel activo en el fortalecimiento y la mejora de nuestros objetivos.
Cuando celebremos el Janucá, recordemos en proporcionar sustento físico a las personas necesitadas, y para proporcionar sustento para las necesidades espirituales de nuestra comunidad entera - ya que todos necesitamos y nos beneficiamos de ellas, instituciones que fomentar la vida judía en su mejor forma.
