"Atheism vs. Deism vs. Theism"

The title may sound like a deep theological debate in a stuffy university setting. However, it is not, it concerns our daily lives and our approach to every situation we may encounter. The definitions in the New Oxford American Dictionary are straight forward:

Atheism the theory or belief that “God“ does not exist.
Deism belief in the existence of a supreme being, specifically of a creator who does not intervene in the universe. The term is used chiefly of an intellectual movement of the 17th and 18th centuries that accepted the existence of a creator on the basis of reason, but rejected belief in a supernatural deity who interacts with humankind.
Theism belief in the existence of a “god” or “gods,” especially belief in one “god” as creator of the universe, intervening in it and sustaining a personal relation to His creatures.
Ed. Note Rather than use the word “god" we will use SOVEREIGN or CREATOR as that seems more definite to us.

Thus we see that an atheist believes that since there is no CREATOR that everything started with a big bang which they have no clue where it came from and over a zillion of years somehow some of the chemicals somehow became alive and evolved. Therefore, they believe if there is no CREATOR thus there are no rules to follow. (Palms 14:1; 53:1)

The deist believes yes, there was a CREATOR, but when He created every thing there is, that something happened to Him. He might have died, or went away on a long trip, maybe retired, or just lost interest in the multitudes of universes and the humungous types of life forms that He created. Therefore, they believe that there are rules, but since the CREATOR does not react with humankind they can pick and choose and do what seems right and good in their own eyes.

On the opposite extreme a Theist believes that not only did The SOVEREIGN CREATOR create a cosmos, but He did it with an eternal plan in mind. You might ask. OK, what is that plan? It is very simple, He created ALL the physical cosmos to have a place for planet earth so that He could create humankind. He created the awesome, breathtaking, awe-inspiring, magnificent, wonderful, amazing, cosmos full of many universes. Why did He do that? To impress on the mind of man that His thoughts are so much higher than our thoughts as east is from west.

Spirit Beings cannot engage in sexual activities to produce children. So to have children born as Spirit Beings the SOVEREIGN had to create the physical creation which contains men and women. The job of the men and women is to develop perfect righteous character and teach it to their children so they will also have perfect righteous character as our CREATOR Father has. Then all humans will learn to love Him and obey Him and yearn to live with Him as He yearns to live with us. (Exodus 25:8; 29:45; Leviticus 26:11-12; Hoses 2:19-23; Joel 2:27;1 Kings 6:13 Zechariah 2:10-11; 8:7-8)

To develop righteousness we must live in an imperfect world with problems and situations to overcome our human nature of wanting wrong things that are not good for us and our justifications for making the wrong choices. These situations we get into are different tests for us (Deuteronomy 13:1-3). As we make choices the SOVEREIGN ponders our choices (Proverbs 5:21; 21:2; 24:12; Psalms 33:15; Genesis 20:6).

Personally I am a theist as I know that the SOVEREIGN has acted in my life many times in spectacular ways. When I look at the sky at night I realize the stars in the sky are proof of a single overall universal Power. Somehow the CREATOR has put the whole universe in its place and controls all that there is.

Frank Borman was commander of the first space crew to travel beyond the Earth's orbit. Looking down on the earth from 250,000 miles away, Borman radioed back a message, quoting Genesis One: "In the beginning, ‘God’ created the heavens and the earth." As he later explained, "I had an enormous feeling that there had to be a power greater than any of us-that there was a ‘God,’ that there was indeed a beginning.”

in addition Einstein said, "My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior Spirit who reveals Himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.”

Since the SOVEREIGN has built a cosmos to house His siblings in, then He, the Designer of the universe must have an overall plan for ALL the inhabitants of the earth. To discover this plan for mankind we must search or quest for the Ancient of Days.

In our quest we must tread on the ancient path that Abraham did. We must discover the ancient Abrahamic Hebrew Faith and live by it. Then and only then will He heal our nations of curses that are upon us Then and only then will He continue to pour out His blessing upon our nations,

We must find ETERNAL as a people as He is our only hope! It is too late for the nation, but there is still time for individuals to find the one true ETERNAL SOVEREIGN. Have you ever thought that if the world is full of various religions and faiths, that only one of them is correct. So, how do we find the right one before it is too late to matter? That is a good question with an easy answer. We will take the first 4 of the 10 Commandments to determine which is the right One.


Genesis 20:
1. I am ETERNAL thy SOVEREIGN, who have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other ‘gods’ before me.
2. Thou shalt not make thyself any graven image, or any form of what is in the heavens above, or what is in the earth beneath, or what is in the waters under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them; for I, ETERNAL thy SOVEREIGN, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and to the fourth [generation] of them that hate me, 6and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
3. Thou shalt not idly utter the Name of ETERNAL thy SOVEREIGN; for ETERNAL will not hold him guiltless that idly uttereth His name.
4. Remember the sabbath day to hallow it. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work; but the seventh day is the sabbath of ETERNAL thy SOVEREIGN: thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy bondman, nor thy handmaid, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days ETERNAL made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore ETERNAL blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Thus we have many paths to choose from, so why not choose to follow the ancient path of obedience today? Well one reason is that the world is full of paths, so which is the ancient one? Another reason is that modern religiosity has paved them all, so that they all look alike. In addition, modern religiosity has switched all of the way-markers and substituted names of confusion around the ancient path. But not to worry, you can still find it, we will help you. The key is, to "Quest for the Ancient of Days," and that Quest will lead you to the ancient path of peace and understanding.

In order to truly understand CREATOR's Word and the ancient path of peace and understanding in these latter days of confusion, it is necessary to know Him. To know Him you must Quest for Him.
